Book Review: Through the Eyes of A Lion

eyes of a lion

*Repost from June 8, 2017

I put Levi Lusko’s book on hold a few weeks ago on the online library and I had forgotten about it. My grandpa passed away the Friday before Memorial Day. Memorial Day was his birthday. His funeral was the Wednesday after Memorial Day. I happened to get a notification that Through the Eyes of  A Lion had come in. Talk about  perfect timing.

This book is mostly geared toward encouraging those who are dealing with the  loss of a loved one, but it can be used for all aspects of our lives. I have laughed at Lusko’s analogies and cried at his stories about the death of his daughter. There is so much I could say about this book, but you just have to read it. It usually takes me awhile to read books because I don’t have much time and I also have a toddler, so my reading time is less than it used to be, but I am almost finished with it. Every time I get a chance to read it, I go to my Kindle app on my phone and read a few pages.

Check  this book out. It is worth it.
